This can include advisory support, strategic guidance, or leadership opportunities. The first step is a focused conversation about your specific situation.
Select a time that works for you. The first conversation is a focused discussion to understand your organization's specific challenge.
Schave Health Advisory takes a direct, low-friction approach to new engagements. The first conversation is not a sales call — it is a focused discussion to understand your organization's specific challenge and determine whether there is a clear fit. If there is, the scope and approach are defined together before any work begins.
Tone
Conversations are direct and practical. The goal is to understand the challenge clearly, not to present a polished pitch.
Approach
Every engagement is shaped by the specific situation. There are no standard packages or fixed deliverables applied uniformly across clients.
Fit
Not every inquiry results in an engagement. If the challenge falls outside the scope of provider-side coding, audit, compliance, or documentation support, that will be communicated clearly.
Schave Health Advisory typically responds to inquiries within one business day.
01
A brief discussion to understand the organization's current coding, audit, documentation, or operational challenge. No forms or intake materials required in advance.
02
Define the scope of work, level of support, and any data or system access needed to move forward. The approach is shaped by the specific situation, not a fixed template.
03
Complete the agreed work, provide findings and recommendations, and support follow-up, education, or implementation as needed. Scope and timeline are defined together at the outset.
Schedule a conversation to discuss your organization's needs.
Defined scope, clear deliverables, fixed timeline. Ideal for audit programs, compliance assessments, or implementation support.
Ongoing strategic support on a monthly retainer. Ideal for organizations that need consistent access to senior expertise.
Direct engagement with product and engineering teams at healthcare technology companies. Ideal for AI coding validation and workflow design.
Open to select fractional or interim leadership roles where deep domain expertise is the primary need.
Schave Health Advisory understands that coding, audit, compliance, and documentation review work may require access to sensitive healthcare information. When medical records, encounter data, audit samples, or protected health information are needed, access is handled through appropriate client agreements, Business Associate Agreement terms when applicable, and secure methods aligned with HIPAA privacy and security expectations.
Whenever possible, work is conducted through client-approved system access, secure portals, encrypted file transfer, or other approved methods provided by the client. Regular email, unsecured file sharing, and unnecessary downloading of PHI are avoided.
The goal is to protect the client, the patient, and the integrity of the engagement — while limiting access to the minimum information necessary for the work being performed.
